HIITMILL X
The HIITMill X, unlike a standard treadmill, this machine is a self-powered speed and strength-training tool designed to build explosive power for athletes in all sports and your day-to-day gym goer. This High-Intensity machine delivers an effective resistance-training platform that captures the benefits of speed and agility training, lateral training, and sled training.
You can now push, drive and sprint with the resistance of a sled and not worry you are going to run out of track, these easy-to-use tools allow you to drive up the metabolic intensity in your training. Gear up for one tough and rewarding HIIT workout that you will love to hate.
Here are some of the things you can do on the HIITMILL X and how you benefit…
Farmers Walk
The farmer’s walk is generally seen and done on by the world’s strongest men Eddie Hall and Terry Holland.
Due to how the HIITMILL X challenges the entire body, by targeting the nervous system, quads, hamstrings, Glutes erectors, core upper back whilst also working the handgrip while pushing your cardiovascular to its max.
Prowler Push
If you want to lose body fat and gain lean muscle mass then the Prowler Push is for you, kicking your metabolism into overdrive and turning your body into a fat-burning machine. The Prowler Push is great for athletic performance muscle hypertrophy for your legs and for achieving results in and outside of the gym i.e. playing field.
Reverse Sled Pulls
The reverse sled pull is an exceptional exercise for developing power in the glutes (See our Glute Drive blog link here) and should be definitely be added into your glute training days not only that if you suffer from bad knees it allows you to really target the quads without wreaking havoc with your knees while still getting maximum effort out of the quads it’s a great exercise to use when finishing a leg session off.
Up Hill Sprints
Just like squats and lunges build strength and power in your legs hill sprints do the same tapping into the explosive fast-twitch fibres driving your hips forward and exploding out of each step to propel yourself forward it’s very similar to what you would get out of sports-related plyometric training i.e., quick turn arounds, box jumps, and fast feet.
`
Here are the top hill sprint benefits:
• Burns more calories
• Improve hip stabilization
• Build stronger calves
• Strengthen your running muscles and connective tissues
• Are less likely to cause injury vs regular sprints
